What is Book Group for Members?
Our Member's Only Book Group is an event for our members to mingle and meet. We have a story, an extra special craft that goes along with the story, and each family gets a copy of the book to take home.
When is Book Group for Members?
Book Group meets the third Tuesday of school year months (September-May), from 9:00am - 10:00am. We do not meet during the summer months (June-August).
Do I have to be a member to attend?
Yes, you must have an active CMAC membership to register for Book Group, and you may only register children/adults who are listed on the membership.
Will I receive a reminder for upcoming Book Groups?
Yes, we will outline each month in our quarterly newsletter, as well as send a monthly reminder when registration opens.
Is there a fee to attend Book Group?
No, our Member's Only Book Group is free to all people with an active museum membership.
Do I need to register to attend?
Yes, registration is required to attend this event so we may prepare supplies. Registration opens the first of each month and closes the Friday before the event. Limited spaces are available and registration is first come, first served.
How do I register for Book Group?
To register, you can reply to the monthly reminder email with the names of the children and adults who will be attending, stop by the front desk, or give us a call at 336-228-7997.
