What is Book Group?
Book Group is an event for guests to mingle and meet. We have a story, an extra special craft that goes along with the story, each family gets a copy of the book to take home, and we provide light refreshments.
When is Book Group?
Book Group meets the third Tuesday of school year months (September-May), from 10:00am - 11:00am. We do not meet during the summer months (June-August).
Please plan to arrive by 10:15am. Late arrival will result in exclusion from the reading; you will however be allowed to join for the craft afterwards.
Do I have to be a member to attend?
No, you do not have to have a membership to register for Book Group, however, registration is opened to members first. Public registration opens a week later.
Will I receive a reminder for upcoming Book Groups?
Yes, we will outline each month in our quarterly newsletter, as well as send a monthly reminder to members when registration opens and post on social media when registration opens to the public.
Is there a fee to attend Book Group?
No, Book Group is free to all guests.
Do I need to register to attend?
Yes, registration is required to attend this event so we may prepare supplies. Registration opens the first of each month and closes the Friday before the event. Limited spaces are available and registration is first come, first served.
How do I register for Book Group?
To register, you can reply to the monthly reminder email with the names of the children and adults who will be attending, stop by the front desk, or give us a call at 336-228-7997.
